DJM Manufacturing makes this lightweight alternative (25 ounces) to the much heavier Van’s tail wheel tire and hub (41ounces!). Precision sealed bearings eliminate any grease slinging onto the bottom of your rudder and keep the hub much more resistant to dirt accumulation. Not to mention, you save a full pound of weight.

- 65 durometer SBR rubber tire

Initially I had trouble getting the inner bushing to line up with the bearings to insert the bolt. Add your technique to the instruction document.

I liked this new lightweight tail wheel so much that
I added the upgraded fork as well along with the stainless steel axel. Not only does it look great ,my RV7 taxis better and the takeoff roll seems more stable.
