The flap arm covers are designed to cover the moving steel parts of the flap actuating tubes in the rear seat of the RV-4 and Rockets. These moving parts are a hazard to your expensive headset cables and other items that may be in the rear cockpit.

Really happy with these. They cover the flap weldments nicely. I did have to fill a lot of pinholes and bigger holes in the fiberglass, but after filling and painting to match the interiot they camr out great. i also added a bracket at the top that attaches to the vertical bulkhead.
